Linux Identity Office is a magazine devoted to OpenOffice.org 3.2 – the newest release of the very popular fully-featured office suite and a strong competitor for Microsoft Office. You may use it for any purpose – domestic, commercial, educational, public administration.
OpenOffice.org (OOo) brings some new features and improvements in its latest 3.2 release. The most noticeable are: faster start-ups, better compatibility with other office programs, ODF support, proprietary file support... A great library of extensions allows to add new modules to OOo and make it working the way you like.
This special edition of Linux Identity constitutes a sort of guidebook on the OpenOffice.org's modules: Writer, Calc, Impress, Math, Base... The DVD coming with this magazine contains, inter alia, the install files for the following architectures: Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and Solaris. On top of that, you will find about thirty helpful extensions that you can use to improve the OOo functionality.
