This issue of Linux Identity is providing an in-depth review of the newest iteration of the Ubuntu 10.10 codenamed Maverick Meerkat. You should find here a nice guide for the already existing users and an inspiration for the users still unknown of the Ubuntu magic.

There are two DVDs attached to this magazine. The first double sided DVD contains the full official version of Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat for 32 and 64-bit installations. The second one is a multiboot DVD. It includes Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat and its four derivatives (Kubuntu LiveCD, Xubuntu LiveCD, Mythbuntu LiveCD and Ubuntu Netbook Edition LiveCD). And, thanks to the LiveCD technology, all these four systems are readily available from one DVD. What's more, starting DVD in Live mode gives the opportunity to test all derivatives without touching the drive itself.

Now, you're set to discover the thrilling world of Ubuntu. If you've not already done so, put the DVD on your DVD drive, restart your computer, and here we go!
